A Concert For George was held at a Royal Albert Hall in London on November 29, 2002 as a memorial to George Harrison on the first day of remembrance of his dying. A event was organised by Harrison's widow woman, Olivia, and intended under a musical theater counsel of Eric Clapton, with a lot successfully from either a event running to the Material World Charitable Foundation.

A concert opened by using Indian music while Anoushka Shankar, daughter of Ravi Shankar, played "Your Eyes". Next, Anoushka Shankar and Jeff Lynne performed "The Inner Light", followed by a Ravi Shankar composition "Arpan" (pronounced Arpa, meaning 'to give'), specially written for the occasion.

So there was the comedy interlude by having members of the Monty Python troupe (Michael Palin, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam) along with Neil Innes, Carol Cleveland and special guest Tom Hanks performing "Sit On My Face" & "The Lumberjack Song".

A remainder of the concert featured "George's Band" and involved musicians Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Billy Preston, Jools Holland, Sam Brown, Gary Brooker, Joe Brown, Ray Cooper, Harrison's son Dhani and several more musicians world health organizatiin appeared on Harrison's recordings across a years.

Between the babies it played the choice of mostly Harrison's songs, from either each Beatles and post-Beatles eras, generally staying close to Harrison's original arrangements. Highlights involved Claptin & Preston on "Isn't It A Pity"; Starr in "Photograph"; McCartney on "Something" (opening with the solo uke accompaniment); & McCartney, Clapton & Starr reuniting for "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

A event was streaming video-recorded & was shown within theatres, so freed in DVD & CD on 17 November 2003.
